Our focus is to celebrate life by using a holistic approach to health care. This is accomplished by concentrating on the health of each person's body, mind and spirit.

What We Offer
Our professional staff tailors each resident's program to their individual needs while providing an encouraging, comfortable and supportive environment. We offer a wide variety of in-house technical and professional services that are specifically designed to meet the medical service needs of our campus.

Our community has a spacious lounge area for dining, social events, planned activities and gathering with friends and family. During the warm months there are many activities held on our outdoor patio such as picnics with family members and residents. Feel free to stroll the walkways, enjoy the flower gardens and fish pond, or relax on a swing. Our facility is located on the picturesque shores of Spring Lake, so you get that "Up North" feeling when you're here. Watch the lake activity, the wildlife, and change of seasons on the water. At Lakeside there's no reason not to enjoy the beautiful outdoors.

At Lakeside we offer long-term care, transitional care, and care for all stages of dementia. Private and semi-private rooms are available for individuals requiring rehabilitation, medical monitoring, short-term respite, and/or other care services. We focus on each individual's capabilities rather than their limitations.

Professional Support Team
Lakeside consists of a team of highly qualified individuals that have advanced technical and customer service experience. We also maintain partnerships with a number of generous and knowledgeable organizations that provide additional service and care options.

Therapy Services
Onsite rehabilitation services include physical, occupational, and speech therapy. These are provided by RehabVisions Therapy Services. Our staff uses state-of-the-art methods and technology to help stabilize health conditions, promote wellness, and enhance the comfort of our residents.

For the Spirit
Our partners from the church community of Dassel and surrounding areas provide spiritual care to residents and their families.

We Offer Services and Amenities That Others Don't

Open Breakfast
Our Open Breakfast Plan enables residents to eat an early breakfast or, if they choose, sleep in and eat a later breakfast. They are free to order off the menu or just order "the usual."

Pet Therapy
Our two resident cats make themselves at home among our residents. There are also a variety of dogs that visit the health care center on a regular basis, and the birds in the aviary fill the dayroom with song.

Beauties in the Beauty Parlor
After bathing or showering, the ladies at Lakeside Care Center go to the beauty parlor for hair drying and setting. Unlike other care centers, this service is performed by our exceptional staff members at no additional charge. Our ladies always look refreshed and ready for the day.

Veteran Services
We contract with the Veteran's Administration to provide hometown service to veterans. Now it isn't necessary to leave one's home area and family to receive long term care and rehab services from the VA.

Professional, In-House Services
If services are needed, such as x-ray, podiatry, IV therapy, audiology or vision services, you can access them without leaving the campus.

Intergenerational Program
The Intergenerational Program, Stay & Play Childcare Center, is located right here on our campus. These children are regular visitors who make meaningful connections with our residents at Lakeside.
